5 Good Looking Mac Software Websites

If you download most of your software then you probably agree that the website you download it from acts much like packaging would in a brick-and-mortar store. I think these 5 sites do a great job of representing their software to the world.

Bohemian Coding

Bohemian Coding, home of FontCase and Slip cover. I liked that this site really showcases the power of its software, and travels beyond screenshots. You don’t have to read the whole page to get a sense of what their products do, but there is still plenty to read.

Blacktree

Blacktree

BlackTree, where one can find QuickSilver. This homepage is probably the most unique and non-informative of the bunch. I chose it for form over function. The navigation takes a primary role in design, and the theme says “Blacktree” loudly, like shouting in a monastery.

Bjango

Bjango

Bjango is the makers of my favorite app of all time, iStats. Bjango makes sexy software, and its fitting that their site is equally attractive. One of the things i like most about their site is that its simple and sweet, but compromises little in the way of communication. You get what the software does, Why its cool, a price tag, and all with honest graphics and consistent branding.

Rouge Amoeba

Rogue Amoeba

Rogue Amoeba sounds funny, but they produce some really useful sound software like Airfoil, and Pulsar. Their site is cute, easy to use, and is packed with easy to read information.

Stunt Software

Stunt Software

Stunt Software makes the invoicing program, On The Job. This site sold me on the program thanks to plenty of information about the program, plenty of straightforward screen shots, and easy to read information that doesn’t over sell, or over burden readers.
